What is Year 7 Literacy and Numeracy Catch-up Premium?

The literacy and numeracy catch-up premium gives schools additional funding to support year 7 pupils who did not achieve the expected standard in reading or maths at the end of key stage 2 (KS2).

In 2017 /18 Year 7 Literacy and Numeracy Catch-up Premium Awarded was £3,773.

Historical Expenditure Overview

2015-16 Awarded £5,079. This money was spent on IT equipment.

2014-15 Awarded £13,500. This money was spent on new laptops and intervention sessions.

The funding supported pupils’ progress through a number of additional learning opportunities.
