Today at 11:00am the whole school gathered to remember those lost in war.  Not only past wars but those more recently Iraq and Afghanistan, and currently in Ukraine.  We paid tribute to the bravery of all  servicemen and women who continue to fight for peace in our ever changing ever challenging world.  Year 7 School Council students read extracts from the poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ which was first published in England in December 1915. Within months, this poem came to symbolise the sacrifices of all who were fighting in the First World War. 

We will remember them.
