This week saw 14 boys from Y8 and 17 boys from Y9 taking part in the Spelling Bee final. They were exposed to very difficult words, such as: annihilated, hypocritical, loquacious, evanescence, exhaustion, insidiousness, etc, and all of them rose to the challenge with poise, calm, confidence and camaraderie. 

 

 

The winner for Y8 is Ayaan Hussain and the runners-up were Amar Najran and Ubaid Khan. 

 

 

 

 

 

Nathan Rimes Y9 is winning the trophy for the second time and the runners-up were Aarav Rathi and Zibo Guo.
