The creative industries are a global British success story growing at more than 1.5 times the rate of the wider economy over the past decade and contributing £108 billion in gross value added (GVA) annually. 

In preparation for the World Book Day, our students have been designing their own book jackets. The creative illustrations are being collated on a daily basis and the best three have been selected from each class. The most important thing is that the students have enjoyed this activity and it has been a real pleasure watching them in action. They have also been given book vouchers that they can spend in any store that sells books. 

The overall top three illustrations will be selected over the coming week so we will be ready to celebrate our students' achievement for the World Book Day.
