World Book Day
3rd March 2021Thursday 4th March is World Book Day and the Forest is celebrating in a number of ways! The boys have been taking part in the English Department's Forest School's World Book Day challenge, completing a series of tasks celebrating books and the joy of reading. The library has some new, exciting books to give out as prizes and the winners will be awarded on quality and detail as well as points. The English Dept will be announcing the winners shortly.
Book tokens will be distributed to the boys on their return. Given the current circumstances with many bookshops being closed, the expiry date of these tokens has been extended beyond the 28th March.
To ensure that children have more time to use their token, participating bookshops will honour tokens beyond the 28 March, whilst stocks of the World Book Day titles last. Each retailer will decide whether they are able to offer £1 off other children’s titles. Boys will be able to swap their tokens for books such as these:
