Ashdown House

Ashdown House is named after Ashdown Forest, a historic area of tranquil beauty located in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Sussex.

Ashdown AntelopesRenowned as the inspiration of A.A Milne’s beloved ‘Winnie-The-Pooh’ stories, Ashdown Forest is a place of literacy heritage, diverse wildlife, and ancient woodlands. This forest’s resilience and natural splendour reflect the qualities we celebrate in our Ashdown House students; strength, determination, and an unyielding spirit.  Like the forest that thrives through the seasons, Ashdown House fosters a community where individuals support and inspire each other to overcome challenges and achieve their fullest potential.
