Following our full Section 5 inspection in July 2021, I am pleased to bring you the main details of the report and share it with you. Please click on the following link to read the full report.
Following two days of rigorous inspection, we are thrilled to share that Ofsted has rated The Forest School as ‘Good’ in all areas. These include:
- The quality of education
- Leadership and management
- Personal development
- Behaviour and welfare
- Sixth Form study programmes
- Safeguarding
The inspection process was thorough and comprehensive. It involved classroom observations, deep dives into English, Mathematics, History, and Geography, and detailed discussions with pupils, staff, leaders, and trustees. Inspectors also considered 178 responses to Ofsted’s online survey, 136 free-text comments on Parent View, and feedback from pupil and staff questionnaires.
This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire school community. Over the past four years, since I joined The Forest School, we have worked tirelessly to realize a shared vision of excellence. The unwavering support, commitment, and determination of our staff, students, parents, and trustees have been instrumental in this success. Thank you all for being part of this incredible journey.
